The NASCAR Xfinity Series has crowned a new champion. On Saturday night, Jesse Love won the 2025 Xfinity Series championship after passing Connor Zilisch in the closing laps at Phoenix Raceway. Love's No. 2 car was the best on the long runs and prevailed with Zilisch's No. 88 car lacking pace.

The Richard Childress Racing driver won the first race of the 2025 Xfinity Series season at Daytona International Speedway and had to wait all year to find victory lane again. Just like Corey Heim in the NASCAR Truck Series, Love won the first and last races of the 2025 season in their respective levels.

It is a disappointing end for Zilisch, Justin Allgaier, and Carson Kvapil, but Love had the best car and earned the championship in the current format. Love was strong during the second half of the 2025 NASCAR season, and he can now call himself an Xfinity Series champion.
