JACKSON, Mo. (KFVS) - A man is facing felony charges after being accused of sexually abusing and harassing a child.
According to online court records, law enforcement responded to a harassment report on Thursday, October 30. They reportedly found 31-year-old Robriquez Jones of Sikeston sitting in a car outside of the victim’s home.
Authorities learned Jones had been messaging the victim for more than a year and began sexually abusing the child within that time.
Jones was taken into custody by the Jackson Police Department for several felony charges:
Enticement or attempted enticement of a child
Second-degree child molestation
Two counts of second-degree statutory rape
Second-degree statutory sodomy
First-degree endangering the welfare of a child
Unlawful use of a weapon
