The Los Angeles Dodgers repeated as World Series champions after a thrilling, 11-inning Game 7 win against the Toronto Blue Jays on Saturday night.
“The Dodgers are building up a dynasty,” David Ortiz said on FOX after the game . “You can’t get a better ballclub than the one they have had for the past five-six years.”
Over the course of the last two offseasons, the Dodgers added Shohei Ohtani , Teoscar Hernández, Yoshinobu Yamamoto, Tyler Glasnow, Blake Snell and Roki Sasaki to their roster. That came after they already had Mookie Betts , Will Smith, Max Muncy and Freddie Freeman.
“They know how to put it together,” Ortiz said. “They have a great front office. They have a great manager. They have great players. And that’s what you get when you put all the pieces together.”
