ROBESON COUNTY, NC (WMBF) - Deputies with the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office are working long hours to get to the bottom of a mass shooting at a Halloween party.
In an update, the sheriff’s office said that it worked with state and federal agencies to conduct multiple searches throughout the county Wednesday morning and into the night.
One of these searches took place in the area of the crime scene, which is on Dixon Drive near McGirt Gin Road in the Maxton area.
The Saturday morning shooting left 11 people hurt and two dead, as 150 people ran from the scene after the shots were fired.
Authorities believe they are looking for multiple shooters.
