Aadhaar rules update : The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has updated rules for Aadhaar card holders, making it mandatory to link Aadhaar card to PAN card by December 31, 2025. The new rules also allow hassle free self-updating of Aadhaar details such as modifying name, address, date of birth, and mobile number online, eliminating the need to visit Aadhaar Seva Kendras for updating details.
