Police on Long Island continue to search the waters near Shinnecock Bay for a pair of kayakers who disappeared Saturday evening after sending a selfie to a friend, police said.

Southampton police said Shane Garcia, 27, and his 25-year-old pal, Aaron Montemarano, set out on a lime-green two-man ocean kayak near the Ponquogue Bridge and never returned, News12 reported .

Police said Long Island kayakers Shane Garcia and Aaron Montemarano sent a selfie Saturday and then disappeared.

“Mr. Garcia sent a picture to his girlfriend of himself and his friend Aaron Montemarano while kayaking in Shinnecock Bay near Ponquogue Bridge,” police said in a press release.
