At 11:32 a.m. on Sunday, the National Weather Service issued a high wind warning valid for Monday between 1 p.m. and 10 p.m. for South Central Oregon Coast.
The weather service adds, “South winds 35 to 45 mph with gusts up to 60 mph expected along capes, headlands, and exposed areas.”
“High winds may move loose debris, damage trees and/or property, and could cause power outages. Travel could be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles,” describes the weather service. “People are urged to secure loose objects that could be blown around or damaged by the wind.”
