BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala (WKRG) - The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency is investigating a multi-vehicle crash that left one person dead and another injured in Baldwin County, according to a news release.
State troopers say the incident happened Saturday morning around 4:45 a.m. on Baldwin County Route 138, one mile west of Bay Minette.
They say 41-year-old Scott Garrett McKee of Bay Minette was driving on Route 138 when his vehicle and another vehicle collided. The crash caused McKee to then hit head-on with another car, driven by 61-year-old Gregory Jackson Cobb of Greenville.
Officials pronounced McKee dead at the scene. They say he wasn’t wearing a seatbelt. Cobb was taken to a nearby hospital, where his status is unknown.
State Troopers continue to investigate.
