SALT LAKE CITY — Both Utah and BYU football continue to trend upward in the week 11 AP Top 25 Poll, which was released on Sunday.

The Utes switched spots with Cincinnati, and the Cougars moved comfortably into the top ten following their bye week.

The No. 24 Utes stomped the No. 17 Cincinnati Bearcats at home, allowing them to rise in the rankings and, more importantly, stay alive in the Big 12 race.

Utah scored 10 or more points in three quarters and dominated the time of possession.

Although two of the final three games are on the road for the Utes, they have three unranked teams left on the schedule. So, they just have to take care of business to close the season and watch how the rest of the standings shake out.
