After nearly three decades without dedicated entertainment spaces for children, Delhi-based Citara–Jadooz has brought cinema and creativity back to South Kashmir with the launch of a month-long Kids Festival.

The initiative, which began on Sunday across Baramulla, Shopian, Pulwama, and Handwara, aims to blend fun with learning through film screenings and interactive activities, marking a major step toward reviving the Valley’s long-lost culture of community cinema and edutainment.
