Former President Bill Clinton showed up at the finish line of the New York City Marathon on Sunday with a mysterious injury to his nose as he hugged daughter and participant Chelsea.
The 79-year-old ex-president, who suffered a health scare last year that left him hospitalized with a fever and suspected dehydration, was seen with a bandage wrapped around the tip of his nose during his embrace of Chelsea, 45, who has run several marathons in recent years.
It is not immediately clear what caused Clinton’s injury. Accompanying him Sunday to cheer on Chelsea was wife Hillary.
In the summer, Clinton had been seen with a portable defibrillator bag in tow while departing the Hamptons, raising questions given his history with heart problems.
