TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — A man was arrested after an attempted robbery Thursday, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.
Just after midnight, deputies responded to a business on North Dale Mabry Highway in Tampa after receiving reports of a burglary in progress.
Deputies said the suspect was seen entering the building.
Surveillance video of the scene shows deputies calling out to the suspect, instructing him to speak up or they would release the K-9.
The deputies then entered the building, where the suspect appeared to be hiding in a room with the door closed.
The sheriff’s office said its K-9 unit issued several commands before the suspect, Jacob Grimm, 34, surrendered without incident.
