SUMMERLAND — Summerland is gearing up to welcome the holiday season in style as the beloved Festival of Lights returns on Friday, Nov. 28.
Now in its nearly 40th year, the festival has become a cherished tradition, drawing more than 10,000 residents and visitors to downtown Summerland each year.
From 5-9 p.m., Main Street and Victoria Road will be transformed into a winter wonderland filled with dazzling lights, live music, and festive cheer. Highlights of the evening include a light-up ceremony with Santa and Mayor Doug Holmes at 7 p.m. and a spectacular fireworks display at 8:30 p.m.
The festival offers fun for all ages, with family fun zones, street performers, local food vendors, and festive shopping.
