Nebraska quarterback Dylan Raiola is done for the season after suffering a broken right fibula during a loss to USC on Saturday.

Raiola got hurt on a sack early in the third quarter that resulted in a fumble during the 21-17 result.

According to ESPN’s Pete Thamel, he will miss the remainder of the campaign.

Cornhuskers head coach Matt Rhule revealed that Raiola wanted to return to the game after the injury but was unable to run, and he did not believe it would be safe to allow him to continue playing.

Of course, the severity was unknown at the time, but Rhule made the correct decision.
