LEWISBURG, WV (LOOTPRESS) — A Lewisburg woman was arrested early Friday morning after police responded to reports of a domestic disturbance involving a knife.
According to a report from Patrolman Thomas with the Lewisburg Police Department, officers were dispatched around 7:30 a.m. after Greenbrier County 911 received a call that a woman armed with a knife was making threats outside an apartment complex.
When officers arrived, they ordered the suspect — later identified as Megan Morgan — to the ground and took her into custody without incident.
The victim told officers that the argument began while she and Morgan were getting their daughters, ages one and nine, ready for daycare. The victim said the dispute started when she dumped out a laundry basket containing both women’s clothes whi
