The Patriots improved to 7-2 after a 24-23 win over the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday afternoon.
Things got dicy for New England after it allowed the Falcons to come back from a 14-point deficit. Had Parker Romo not missed the game-tying extra point in the fourth quarter, there’s no telling how the Week 9 game would have turned out.
Despite not being at their best but still coming out with a win, coach Mike Vrabel shared what his message was to the Patriots.
“Just get ready to go on the road,” he said after the game. “I understand that that’s how it goes in this league. Sometimes it’s tough, but don’t let anybody take the joy of what we do. Joy is authentic. Joy comes from these guys caring about each other, being happy for the guy next to him that made a play. Joy’s about what we do
