DOUGLAS COUNTY, Wash. -- Highway 97 was closed for several hours following a crash on Saturday morning, according to Washington State Patrol.
Around 7:30 a.m. on November 1, a 74-year-old man from Twisp was driving his vehicle southbound on State Route 97 near milepost 232, about five miles south of Chelan.
The vehicle crossed the center line and the northbound lane, went off the highway into a ditch and rolled onto the driver's side.
Neither the driver, nor the one passenger, were injured in the crash.
WSP said it is unknown if drugs or alcohol were a factor in the crash. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
After the crash, SR-97 was closed for eight hours and 16 minutes.
