The Coalition has plunged to its lowest level of support in modern political history, as Pauline Hanson’s One Nation recorded a new high.
According to the latest Newspoll, conducted for The Australian, the Coalition’s primary vote has collapsed to just 24 per cent, down three points since September.
One Nation climbed to a record 15 per cent, while Labor’s primary vote fell one point to 36 per cent and the Greens slipped to 11 per cent.
On a two-party-preferred basis, Labor led the Coalition 57–43, maintaining its post-election advantage.
Prime Minister Anthony Albanese’s personal approval ratings weakened slightly, falling to negative five – the lowest it has been since the May 3 election.
But Opposition Leader Sussan Ley has fared far worse, with just 25 per cent of voters satisfied
