Colston Loveland’s second NFL touchdown came at an opportune time for the Chicago Bears.
The rookie 10 th overall pick caught a game-winning 58-yard touchdown pass with 17 seconds remaining to lift the Chicago Bears to a wild 47-42 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday at Paycor Stadium.
After making the grab in the middle of the field around Cincinnati’s 37-yard line, Loveland bounced off two Bengals defenders and was off to the races. Chicago (5-3) had allowed 15 points in just over a two-minute span to blow a 14-point lead, but Loveland’s touchdown saved the team from an epic collapse.
Down by one with 54 seconds remaining, the Bears needed just four plays to reach the end zone. The team’s defense, which allowed 495 yards, intercepted Joe Flacco’s Hail Mary attempt as time
