A big update on the injury front for the Michigan Wolverines was announced on Sunday afternoon, as running back Justice Haynes is set to undergo surgery for his foot injury, according to Matt Zenitz of CBS Sports.
According to Zenitz, there isn’t a firm timetable for Haynes’ return, but the Wolverines are hoping to get their star running back before the end of the season. Michigan is entering a bye week, after which it will have road games against Northwestern and Maryland before finishing the regular season against Ohio State at home.
Haynes left Michigan’s game against Michigan State last week in the second half after he’d already ran for 153 yards and two touchdowns on 26 carries. He didn’t play this weekend in Michigan’s win over Purdue, and missed much of the game against USC, as we
