BELFAST -- You may have seen some witches around Belfast this weekend, but some traded in their broomsticks for oars.
DoryWoman Rowing in Belfast hosted the seventh annual Witches Row on Sunday.
Participants dressed as witches paddled along the Belfast harbor in kayaks, paddle boards and other vessels.
"It's an opportunity for us to come together as people who are nature based spirituality but also to be part of our working waterfront in Belfast which is so vibrant and alive and such a focal point for our community," said participant Becky Nightingale Johns.
The owner of DoryWoman Rowing, Nicolle Littrell, started the event back in 2018 as a way to embrace the holiday season and celebrate the area's vast rowing community.
