Detroit Lions head coach Dan Campbell wasn't sugarcoating anything after his team lost at home coming out of their bye week to the Minnesota Vikings Sunday, 27-24.

"You don't want any of these to happen. It's like a slap in the face," Campbell said. "That happens. You don't want them to happen, but hey, here it is. Now you're forced to stand there and stare at it, 'How are we going to fix this?'

"It's about cleaning it up and correcting the errors and we move on."

Campbell liked the week of practice the Lions had coming out of their bye and expected his team to play well against the Vikings. Instead, he was most disappointed in the fact that all three phases underperformed and played a factor in what he described as their worst performance 'in a long time.'
