Sudbury’s version of the Banff Mountain Film Festival will kick off with a presentation from Arctic survivalist and Alone finalist Kielyn Marrone.

The Espanola native and Lure of the North guide will will join Beth Mairs, a veteran of outdoor travel herself, in conversation about Marrone’s recent adventures, her one-of-a-kind expedition company, and what it is like to be filmed for a TV show while toughing it out in the wild.
