COLUMBUS, OH — The Ohio Air Quality Development Authority (OAQDA) has approved and closed on $55 million in bond financing to support Rumpke Waste & Recycling’s ongoing infrastructure expansion across southwest Ohio. The funds will help advance the company’s plans to build and upgrade facilities in Clark, Clermont, and Hamilton counties , enhancing waste management operations and improving air quality.

The projects — which include the construction of two solid waste transfer stations in Clark and Clermont counties and facility improvements in Hamilton County — are expected to create 105 new full-time jobs and sustain 115 existing positions , while processing up to 1,100 tons of solid waste per day .
