PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — The National Weather Service has issued a Coastal Flood Advisory for portions of the southern Washington coast and northern Oregon coast from Raymond, Washington stretching down to Seaside, Oregon that is set to go into effect on Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Minor flooding is expected along Highway 101 during high tide as well as hazardous swimming conditions during this timeframe.
Residents in the coastal areas of both Clatsop and Tillamook counties are advised to stay alert and take appropriate action to keep themselves and their property safe.
Along with this Coastal Flood Advisory, there is also a higher threat of sneaker waves for much of the PNW's coastline from now until Monday evening. So, it's always a good reminder to never turn your back to the oce
