KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Missouri State Highway Patrol is investigating after an officer-involved shooting involving members of the Kansas City Police Department on Sunday evening.

According to the MSHP, the shooting occurred in the 3500 block of Independence Avenue. It is currently unclear what led up to the shooting.
