The Kingston Frontenacs’ losing streak stretched to four games with a 6-1 loss to the London Knights at Slush Puppie Place on Sunday.

The Knights opened the scoring on a powerplay goal by Braidy Wassilyn at 11:30 of the first period, with Kingston defenceman Will Bishop in the penalty box off with a holding minor. For 20 minutes, the Frontenacs more than held their own against the defending Memorial Cup champions, trailing only 1-0 and outshooting London 12-10 going into first intermission.

In the second period, though, the Knights took their game to another level, scoring four goals over the span of eight minutes.
