Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja, once the undisputed face of commercial masala cinema in Tollywood, is going through one of the toughest phases of his career.

After scoring back-to-back hits with Dhamaka and Waltair Veerayya, the actor’s box office streak has sharply declined; with Ravanasura, Tiger Nageswara Rao, Eagle, and Mr. Bachchan all ending up as disappointments.

Now, his latest release Mass Jathara seems to be continuing that unfortunate trend.

According to early estimates, Mass Jathara opened to a poor start, collecting around ₹6.65 crore (India net) from its first-day run, including Friday night premieres.

On Sunday, the film reportedly earned just ₹3 crore (India net), registering an overall 26.12% Telugu occupancy across theatres on November 2, 2025.
