LAS VEGAS (KLAS) -- Starting Sunday night, there will be lane and ramp closures along the I-15 as part of the ongoing I-15 South Widening Project.

From Sunday, Nov. 2 to Friday, Nov. 7, north and southbound I-15 will be reduced to two lanes between Sloan Road and Starr Avenue. There will also be intermittent on and off-ramp closures along north and southbound I-15 between Silverado Ranch Boulevard and Sloan Road.

The closures will take place nightly from 8 p.m. until 5 a.m., according to the Nevada Department of Transportation.

The closures are due to striping and sign installation. The schedule is subject to change due to weather and other factors.

Motorists should use caution while traveling through work zones, and take alternate detour routes, if possible.
