New Delhi, Nov 03: Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) on the successful launch of India’s heaviest communication satellite, CMS-03.

He highlighted the achievements of the space sector as a source of national pride and innovation, emphasizing the impact on progress and empowerment. Vice-President C. P. Radhakrishnan also praised the launch, noting its significance for space-based communications and maritime awareness.

The LVM3-M5 rocket successfully placed CMS-03 into Geosynchronous Transfer Orbit, marking a major milestone in India’s space capabilities and self-reliance in advanced technology. Lt. Gen. AK Bhatt described the event as a defining moment for India’s strategic satellite capabilities.
