Indian Army chief General Upendra Dwivedi mentioned US President Donald Trump while discussing the growing unpredictability of modern security challenges. While addressing students in Rewa, Gen Dwivedi's hometown, the army chief highlighted the complex and rapidly evolving nature of modern threats, from cyberattacks to space warfare.
Speaking to students at TRS College, the Army Chief emphasised that the challenges in the future would be marked by “instability, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity.”
“You and I have no clear idea what the future holds,” he added.
Drawing parallels with the security challenges faced by the country’s armed forces, Gen Dwivedi quipped, “Even Trump doesn’t know what he is going to do tomorrow.”
