The Jacksonville Jaguars entered Sunday’s Week 9 matchup with the Las Vegas Raiders ranked 23rd in total defense, which is why losing star defensive end and former No. 1 overall pick Travon Walker in the third quarter was such a big deal.
The good news is Walker wasn’t injured—though he was playing with a brace on his left hand after suffering a wrist injury earlier this year that required surgery and sidelined him for Week 5 against the Kansas City Chiefs.
The bad news is he was ejected after punching Raiders offensive lineman Stone Forsythe in the face after a Vegas field goal. Forsythe was penalized for unnecessary roughness, which was offset by Walker’s penalty and disqualification.
