A Mayfield woman was charged with assault and drug violations after she was stopped by Graves County deputies on Saturday.
Deputies detained 44-year-old Andrea Farmer on KY 58 at Cherry Drive as they observed signs of impairment.
They requested that Farmer step out of the vehicle, but she refused, and kicked the deputies while she was being placed under arrest.
Inside the vehicle, deputies reportedly located marijuana, methamphetamine and pills.
Farmer's charges included assault on a police officer, resisting arrest, possession of a controlled substance and DUI.
