The Supreme Court will on Monday hear a batch of cases related to the rising menace of digital arrest frauds across the country.

During the previous hearing on October 27, the apex court had said it was considering transferring the probe into these cases to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).

A bench of Justice Surya Kant and Justice Joymalya Bagchi had observed that it would first hear the views of all state governments before deciding on the transfer.

Notices were sent to all states and Union Territories, seeking details of FIRs filed in connection with such scams in their respective jurisdictions.
