Chandigarh, Nov 02: The court martial, which began in May 20 in Chandigarh, found the accused officer guilty of three out of the four charges levelled against him under various Sections of the Army Act.

A General Court Martial of the Army sentenced a Colonel of the Corps of Electronics and Mechanical Engineers to dismissal from service after having been found guilty of having an improper relationship with the wife of another Colonel.

The court martial, which began in May 2025 at ‘N’ Area in Chandigarh, found the accused officer guilty of three out of the four charges levelled against him under various Sections of the Army Act.

The trial was presided over by Brigadier Jagminder Singh Gill of Headquarters Uniform Force with six Colonels as members.
