The Rawlings Gold Glove Awards were announced this evening and three Cubs players. second baseman Nico Hoerner, center fielder Pete Crow-Armstrong and left fielder Ian Happ, all won Gold Gloves at their respective positions.

Crow-Armstrong was a human highlight reel in center field this past year, making plays that almost no other center fielder would even attempt to make a catch on. Crow-Armstrong made an unbelievable 19 five-star catches (under a 25 percent probability) when no other center fielder had more than nine. He led MLB in outs above average. It was the first Gold Glove for Crow-Armstrong.
