The champs are home! The Dodgers are back in Los Angeles after a repeat World Series win .
Their plane was welcomed with a water cannon salute on the tarmac.
AIR7 was live above LAX as the players touched down and started deplaning on Sunday evening, with the Commissioner's Trophy in tow.
Video shows World Series MVP Yoshinobu Yamamoto carrying the trophy over his head as he stepped off the plane. The red carpet was laid out for the champions to walk across.
The plane landed around 5:30 p.m., and most of the players emerged around 5:45 p.m.
After the Dodgers landed, eager fans waited to see them arrive at Dodger Stadium. A large group of fans brought signs, ready to congratulate the team,
