The New England Patriots won their sixth straight game on Sunday over the Atlanta Falcons , their former Super Bowl LI opponent.

After a hard-fought second half, the Patriots' 24-23 win was decided by a missed Parker Romo PAT after Michael Penix connected with the star wide receiver Drake London for his third touchdown of the game in his first game back from a hamstring injury that sidelined him last week against the Miami Dolphins .

In the first half, Drake Maye made it look easy, much like the previous five games, throwing for 173 yards and two touchdown passes to wide receivers Stefon Diggs and Demario "Pop" Douglas, while backed by a solid run game, which was impressive considering the Falcons came in with the second-best defense in the NFL.
