Washington: US President Donald Trump has said that he is not currently considering sending Tomahawk cruise missiles to Ukraine, adding that his decision could change in the future. Speaking to reporters on Sunday, Trump stated that the United States will not provide the long-range missiles “for now,” as he does not want to take steps that might further escalate the war with Russia.
Trump also said he is cautious about allowing NATO countries to buy Tomahawks from the United States and then transfer them to Ukraine. He mentioned that while Ukraine continues to seek advanced weapons to strengthen its defense, he prefers to focus on finding a peaceful solution to end the war.
