(FOX40.COM) — One person has been reported dead after being struck by two vehicles on Sunday evening in Sacramento, according to the Sacramento Police Department. • Video above: How to report a public safety threat

The police said that around 6:30 p.m., officers responded to the area of Del Paso and Marysville Boulevard after receiving reports of a hit-and-run crash. When officers arrived at the scene, they found a pedestrian lying in the roadway.

SPD said the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene after being struck by two vehicles. The first vehicle fled the scene before police arrived, but the second vehicle remained on scene.
