A viral video has surfaced from the Sribhumi district in Assam, where farmers from the Bangladesh side are seen arguing with the BSF forces situated at the border. In the video, a person can be heard saying, “hamara desh ka mati hain, aap kyun aaya”.

The incident surfaced on Sunday, November 2nd has highlighted concerns of trespassing along the India-Bangladesh border. As per sources from the BSF, the incident occured on Sunday morning as farmers from the Bangladesh tried to do farming in the area which had come out due to the water receding amid the winter season. “The land which comes out during winter, they try to claim that land, which is actually Indian land,” said an officer.
