NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) - It's been a fairly quiet weekend and that trend will continue through the beginning portion of this week.
Sunday evening will be breezy all across southeast Louisiana and southern Mississippi with our coastal areas experiencing stronger wind gusts in the 20-mph range.
The wind gusts will simmer down a bit for Monday, but many spots won't have "CALM" winds until Tuesday.
Sunday evening temperatures will get down to the low 50s then heat up into the 70s for Monday plus each day this week will be a bit warmer than the last.
Just look at Friday and Saturday getting close to the 80-degrees mark!
But it's also around that same time where we will see upped rain chances particularly for Thursday evening into Friday with possible widespread showers and storms.
