SGPC Polls: All Eyes on Giani Harpreet Singh’s Pick for President

As the general session of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) takes place in Amritsar today to elect the President and other office-bearers, all eyes are on Giani Harpreet Singh , head of the reconstituted Akali Dal , to see whom he will nominate as the party’s candidate for the top post.

According to exclusive information shared by Babushahi Network , Mithu Singh Kahneke , an SGPC member who had joined this Akali Dal faction after rebelling against Sukhbir Badal , is likely to be nominated as the party’s candidate.
