WEST ORANGE, Texas — The end of the high school football regular season arrives this Friday with still so many unanswered questions about playoff seeding and district championships.
In District 10-4A Division I, four teams — Little Cypress-Mauriceville, Bridge City, Lumberton and Huffman Hargrave — enter the final week with identical records.
Fittingly, they will all face one another to decide the district standings and playoff seedings.
District 9-4A DII currently has a team sitting on the throne with the West Orange-Stark Mustangs holding a 4-0 record headed into the final week.
Hamshire-Fannett and Silsbee each have a loss in district with the Longhorns falling to the Tigers and the Mustangs grabbing a close victory over the Tigers.
