A woman says she is struggling to offload a retirement home she inherited, all the while it is costing her hundreds in fees each month.
Karen Inglis was left a property in St Philips Court, Sandhurst Road, Tunbridge Wells, when her mother died, which she had been renting out for the past 10 years for a little extra income.
But this year, the freeholder, Sanctuary Housing, said that she couldn’t do that anymore, so she asked them if they wanted to buy it.
When they said no, she turned to We Buy Any House (WBAH) as she needed a quick sale due to deteriorating health and the need to remove the financial burden of the property's management fees and council tax.
She accepted WBAH’s offer of £20,000 seven months ago, but now she’s been waiting ever since for Sanctuary Housing to decide wheth
