HOT SPRINGS, Ark. -- The Bruins and Wampus Cats rejoiced at Bank OZK Arena Saturday after clinching the Class 4A and Class 6A state volleyball championships.

For Pulaski Academy, it was their first-ever trip to the Class 4A Finals in program history. The Bruins played like they had been on the stage before, outlasting Jonesboro Westside in five sets (29-31, 25-16, 16-25, 26-24, 15-13) to claim the school's first-ever Class 4A volleyball championship.

Sophie Greenwood was named Class 4A tournament Most Valuable Player. She finished the match with a team-high 18 kills to go with six blocks. Rachel Ardoin tallied 15 kills and Lexi George added 13 to help Greenwood offensively.

Pulaski Academy (19-6) ended the season on a nine-match winning streak.
