After a four-year break, the Darbar Move process has resumed in Jammu and Kashmir. Secretariat offices in Jammu have reopened for a full six months.

Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah walked to the Secretariat today and was greeted with flowers. Recently, the Chief Minister reviewed all arrangements for the Darbar Move in Jammu and assured uninterrupted functioning of the government machinery for the entire six-month winter season.

Jammu traders have welcomed the opening of the Darbar Office in Jammu and expressed hope that it will positively impact business.
