‘ Hum Hain Team India ’ – the long-awaited team anthem – was finally unveiled by Harmanpreet Kaur and her team on Sunday night after they were crowned World Champions. The song, which had been kept under wraps for four years, was revealed in style as the entire Indian women’s team sang it together at the DY Patil Stadium.

In BCCI’s latest video, Jemimah Rodrigues shared the story behind it.

“We decided almost four years ago that we would only reveal our team song when we win the World Cup. And tonight is the night," she said with a smile, before her teammates and support staff joined in to sing, ‘ Hum Hain Team India, Hum Saath Mein Jeetenge! ’
