Tension prevailed at the Mirjaguda accident site in Chevella mandal when local MLA K. Yadayah arrived to inspect the scene of the tragic RTC bus–truck collision that claimed 20 lives on Monday.

Locals and victims’ relatives expressed anger and frustration over what they called the

government’s failure to improve road safety and control heavy vehicle movement in the area.

The MLA faced heated protests as people demanded immediate action against those responsible and better emergency response measures.

They raised slogans against Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy too.
