The Kansas City Chiefs entered Highmark Stadium on Sunday for a highly anticipated showdown against the Buffalo Bills.

While they remained within striking distance throughout the game, especially in the fourth quarter while trailing by seven, they ultimately fell short, losing 28-21 and pushing Bills quarterback Josh Allen’s regular-season record against the Chiefs to 5-1.

Now sitting at 5-4 overall, Kansas City heads into its bye week, which comes at a much-needed time. Head coach Andy Reid confirme d some troubling injury news after the game regarding star tackle Jawaan Taylor, who suffered a right ankle injury in the loss.

“Alright, the only injury coming out of it was Jawaan Taylor, who hurt his right ankle,” Reid said postgame.
